Hello it´s Newlayer

Conocí Newlayer de la mano de Noemí López, su fundadora. Siempre he admirado las cosas bonitas y el trabajo bien hecho, un tándem difícil de conseguir pero no imposible, y de eso ella sabe un rato. En algún sitio que ahora no recuerdo, leí sobre la importancia de tener un buen material para conseguir los resultados mas óptimos. Sin embargo, es el alma y el corazón de la persona lo que está detrás de cada proyecto, lo que le da su toque personal y logra hacer de ese proyecto su seña de identidad. Para mí conseguir hacer las cosas diferenciándote de los demás no es tarea fácil, es algo que requiere trabajo y muchas noches en vela pero creo que se ve compensado cuando alguien identifica tu trabajo sin saber de que manos viene. Eso me pasó, me pasa y me sigue pasando con Noemí.

I met Newlayer through her founder Noemí López. I have always admired the beautiful things and the work well done, a difficult tandem to achieve but not impossible (she knows what I´m talking about). Somewhere I cannot remember, I read about the importance of the accessibility to good material to achieve the best results. However, it is the soul and heart of the person behind each project that gives a personal touch and prints its hallmark. For me doing works that differentiate you from others work is not easy, it is something that requires perseverance and many sleepless nights but I think that is offset when someone identifies your job without knowing where it comes from. That is what happened to me, happens and still happening with Noemí.

El chiringuito como quien dice se lo ha montado ella sola, y ha sido autodidacta en todo lo que se refiere a este mundillo del diseño gráfico y de la fotografía, cosa que ya de por sí es admirable. Disfruta con lo que hace y eso se nota. Le da cuerda a dos de sus pasiones, por un lado al diseño y e-marketing (Newlayer) y lo complementa con un proyecto paralelo de fotografía llamado Les petits portraits. De este último tuve la suerte de ser una de las protagonistas y he de decir que además de pasármelo bomba me gusto mucho la experiencia, tanto, que ya estoy pensando en repetir.

She is a self-made person, self-taught and established Newlayer by herself. Being self-taught in these subjects is already admirable. She enjoys what she does and you can notice it. She combines two of her passions, graphic design and e-marketing (Newlayer) and complements it with a photography project called Les petits portraits. I was lucky to be part of the latter and I really liked the experience. So much so, that I’m already thinking of repeating.

Por todo esto y mucho mas, me decidí a elegir Newlayer para dar vida a este proyecto en el que me acabo de embarcar. Me facilita las herramientas necesarias en lo que se refiere a diseño gráfico, y como me conoce bien, sabe perfectamente lo que quiero. Es una persona certera en lo que se propone. Si quieres echar un vistazo a los trabajos llevados a cabo por Newlayer pincha aquí, pero sin duda, uno de sus proyectos mas bonitos y emocionantes es el que esta llevando a cabo ahora mismo, y forma parte de ella. El resultado está a punto de revelarse tras casi 9 meses de espera.

For all this and much more, I decided to choose Newlayer to give life to this project in which I am embarking. Newlayer provides the necessary tools in terms of graphic design, as Noemí knows me well, knows exactly what I want. It is a well-aimed person in what it is proposed. The result is about to be revealed after almost 9 months of waiting.

1. Un lugar para perderte. Sin duda, cualquiera que esté abandonado. Estos lugares despiertan en mi un magnetismo especial.

3. Una frase de una canción. Uno, dos… Bien pudo ser cosa de magia cuando se transformaron en bestias: él en un lobo feroz y ella en un pájaro con cresta. Llegaban las malas noticias de todas las partes del mundo y a ellos solo les preocupaba ser felices siendo fieras en su refugio.

4. ¿Cuál es tu flor favorita? (Aceptamos plantas, árboles y otros términos). La paniculata. En mi casa está por todos lados…
5. Consejo bloguero. Sé siempre tu misma. Representar un papel supone a menudo tener que desdoblarse y eso, tarde temprano, te acaba pasando factura. Deja que tus seguidores disfruten contigo y cuéntales las cosas como si fueran tu familiar más querido.
